Emily Scherberth is a seasoned communications executive with more than two decades of experience as a business strategist, qualitative researcher and storyteller.She has guided dozens of startups to launch and helped a wide range of companies craft compelling and differentiated narratives that engage the media and inspire action among their target audiences.  

After performing award-winning work at well-respected agencies like Fleishman-Hillard, MSLGroup and Allison+Partners for high-profile brands such as Yahoo!, Match.com, Nike, General Motors and YouTube, she founded Symphony in 2008 to serve disruptive companies and organizations in transition. She holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from Loyola Marymount University and a M.A. in Communication Studies from California State University, Northridge. Emily was also an adjunct professor at California State University, Fullerton and California State University, Dominguez Hills where she taught upper division courses on market research and integrated marketing.
